Unleash your creativity in just a few hundred words! The Flash Fiction Writing Contest invites writers of all ages to submit a short story or poem about nature. In 500 words or less, write your fiction on the theme: Wild West/Cowboy Ghost Story.
A winner will be selected from each age group, and their work will be proudly displayed at the Chandler Nature Center through the end of December. Winners will also receive a special prize! All entries must be typed and may be written as prose or poetry. Let your imagination run wild!
Entry form opens on October 1 and closes on October 31. Winners are announced on November 16.
