CHANDLER, Ariz. – Chandler Center for the Arts (CCA) is auctioning the current folding theater seats that occupy its three theaters. The CCA will be undergoing renovations starting in June, which will include new theater seating.
The seats up for auction are fixed-position theater seats in four different sizes. All seating is in good, functional condition and has been professionally maintained. Interested buyers must acquire a minimum of five seats but can bid to acquire the entire lot of 1,472 seats.
Parties may request additional information, specifications and photographs by contacting CCA Assistant Manager Terri Rettig at 480-782-2688. There will be a public viewing of the theater seats on Friday, May 8 from 9-11 a.m. at Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave. RSVP for the public viewing online.
City staff will remove the seats, and buyers are responsible for picking up their lot at the CCA June 22-24. The auction is live and will run through May 29.
