Chandler community invited to annual Women’s Empowerment Luncheon

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Chandler’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division is hosting the second annual Women’s Empowerment Luncheon and encourages women who live, work or volunteer in Chandler to attend. The free event will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 8 (held on International Women's Day), at Soho63, 63 E. Boston St.

This year's program features Maisha Christian, owner and head coach at Beauty & the Boss, as the keynote speaker. Christian will look at examples and benefits of building real-world connections and present a framework to help attendees engage in real connections that will serve their personal life and professional goals.

Following the keynote, an esteemed panel of female leaders and champions from the community will discuss and reflect on their lived experiences and journeys in both their personal and professional lives. Panelists include:

  • Jolene Begay, Intel Corporation
  • Caroline Heaps, City of Chandler resident
  • Dr. Thuy Padilla, City of Chandler resident
  • Annemarie Sacco, College of Health Solutions, Arizona State University 

Seating is limited for this free event. Registration is required and every attendee must individually register. Priority will be given to those who reside, volunteer or are employed within the City of Chandler.
