CHANDLER, Ariz. — The City of Chandler’s Golden Neighbors program is hosting a free physical & cognitive health event for “golden” residents (55 years+) from 9:30 - 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18 at Tumbleweed Recreation Center, Cotton Room South, 745 E. Germann Road.

This month’s gathering will be taught by Vickie Aigner, founder of Alive, Fit and Free. Attendees will be taught exercises that don’t feel like workouts — for both the mind and body.

Chandler residents planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP online by Tuesday, April 16 at Chandler Golden Neighbors. Attendees also may call 480-782-4362, or email Neighborhood Programs to RSVP.

The Golden Neighbors program was created as a resource to connect Chandler “golden” seniors with services offered by the city and local partners. For more information about the program, or to make a donation, visit Chandler Golden Neighbors.
