CHANDLER, Ariz. — The City of Chandler’s Golden Neighbors program is hosting two free events this January for “golden” residents ages 55 and older.

On Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, representatives from AARP will educate attendees about the Fraud Watch NetworkTM and the available fraud-prevention resources to help participants spot and avoid scams. On Thursday, Jan. 22, Chandler Police and staff from the city’s Information Technology Department will present tips on fraud awareness and online safety.

Both events will be held from 9:30–11 a.m. at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, 250 E. Chicago St.

Chandler residents planning to attend are asked to RSVP online at Chandler Golden Neighbors. Attendees also may call 480-782-4362, or email Neighborhood Programs staff to register.

The Golden Neighbors program was created to connect Chandler seniors with services offered by the city and local nonprofits while fostering community and support. For more information about the program, or to make a donation, visit Chandler Golden Neighbors.
