CHANDLER, Ariz. – The City of Chandler and Chandler Chamber of Commerce will host a community meet and greet to welcome Acting City Manager John Pombier, who oversees the day-to-day operations of the city.
The event will be held on August 27 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. in the Vision Gallery, 10 E. Chicago St. It will enable residents and businesses to connect with Pombier and members of Chandler’s executive team to share perspectives on the community today and opportunities ahead.
Pombier was appointed by Chandler City Council to serve as acting city manager effective July 16. He retired from the City of Mesa in 2022 after 19 years of service, including 11 years as an assistant city manager.
Other members of the city manager’s executive team include:
- Assistant City Manager Tadd Wille
- Deputy City Manager and Chief Financial Officer Dawn Lang
- Deputy City Manager Leah Powell
- Deputy City Manager Ryan Peters
They report to the city manager and assist with overseeing the administration and day-to-day operations of the city.
