CHANDLER, Ariz. — The City of Chandler is offering the community free guided tours of Chandler Municipal Airport this fall.
The tours will be offered one day each month starting September through December, with two tour times available from 10:30–11:30 a.m. or 2–3 p.m. Tours will be held on Friday, Sept. 19; Friday, Oct. 17, Monday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Dec. 12.
This is a unique opportunity for residents, students and aviation enthusiasts to explore behind-the-scenes and learn more about airport operations and its contributions to the nation’s airport system. The tour includes an overview of the airfield as well as a stop at the heliport.
Space is limited for the one-hour tour (14 guests per tour) and registration is required. Each attendee must complete the registration form individually online at Airport Tours.
