CHANDLER, Ariz. – Friends of Chandler Public Library has once again demonstrated its commitment to lifelong learning and community connection with an approved investment of $100,000 to support the Chandler Public Library (CPL) for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

The Friends of Chandler Public Library is a nonprofit organization that supports diverse and engaging programming at the four CPL branches. From early literacy and adult learning to teen engagement and cultural programs, the Friends’ annual gift helps residents access resources to read, learn, and thrive. Funding is made possible through donor contributions, corporate sponsorships and used book sales at the Downtown and Sunset Libraries.

“The generosity of the Friends is seen throughout the library and its programs,” said Tara Anglin, development and engagement program manager. “Their support inspires lifelong learning in our community through digital resources, engaging activities and reading programs.”

This year’s gift enhances programs throughout CPL branches, including early childhood reading programs and adult literacy classes; the Makery, a hands-on space for creativity and innovation; “Our Stories” local history speaker series; Teen Advisory Council and teen volunteer recognition and digital resources such as LinkedIn Learning, which offers professional development to all library cardholders.

Community members may support the Friends of Chandler Public Library by purchasing used books at the Downtown or Sunset branches. Online donations are accepted year-round at Friends of Chandler Public Library.
