Reception: Artists in Schools: America the Beautiful Exhibition

Join us for an opening reception of "Artists in Schools: America the Beautiful" at the Chandler Museum!

Come check out what CUSD and Kyrene students have created in our 2026 Artists in Schools program! Four local artists were placed in four schools to collaborate on a special project. The resulting artwork expresses the new skills, creative methods, and thought processes the students learned with these teachers that enhanced their artistic development.

Inspired by the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, this year’s projects were themed to celebrate the people, ideas, and stories that bring us together and give us hope for the future of our country.
