CHANDLER, Ariz. – The City of Chandler will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, July 21. The election will give Chandler voters an opportunity to elect a Mayor, three City Councilmembers and consider Proposition 415, Chandler’s proposed General Plan update.
The deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election is Monday, June 22. To register to vote in Arizona, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a U.S. citizen;
- Be an Arizona resident at least 29 days before July 21;
- Be 18 years of age or older on or before July 21;
- Not have been convicted of a felony or treason, unless your civil rights have been restored.
Chandler residents who have an Arizona driver’s license or I.D. card may register to vote online or update their existing registration at AzMVDNow.gov/VR.
