Resource and Referral List

We are unable to give you your exact position on the waiting list. We can verify that you are on the waiting list, give you the date you applied and a current estimated wait time.

Yes, as long as you applied for both when both programs were open. If the waiting list for a program is closed you must wait until it opens and apply at that time. You may also be on the waiting list for one program while receiving assistance on another.

You will be notified by mail regarding your status. When your name comes near the top of the list you will be sent a prescreening letter requesting that you provide the necessary documentation to determine your eligibility. It is imperative that you keep your address current with the Housing Division. If you are mailed something and you do not respond or it is returned, you will be removed from the waiting list and you will need to reapply.

The wait on each list varies, and it is impossible to give an amount of time. It is best that you ask this question at the time you complete your application so we can try to give you an estimated answer based on where your application or name is on the waiting list.

Any changes in status must be reported to your housing specialist. Fill out a Change Report Form provided by CHRD, or mail to the CHRD. You can also pick up a Change Report form at the CHRD.

No, we do not. Emergency housing for homeless men or women is available through various shelters in the area. We recommend that individuals call the Shelter Hotline at 800-799-7739 for assistance.
