For Our City Day is an annual event that brings volunteers and residents together to build community and instill neighborhood pride. In just one morning, hundreds of volunteers will complete beautification projects for Chandler residents by cleaning up their front yards, painting their homes, spreading gravel, cleaning alleyways and more.
This year the 13th annual For Our City Day will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Colonia Coronita neighborhood. Colonia Coronita is located in east Chandler, from Chandler Boulevard to Frye Road and Cooper to Gilbert roads.
As we celebrate 13 years of making an impact through For Our City Day, we will end with a community celebration in the SanTan neighborhood park. There will be free activities, food, resources, job fair and more for everyone to enjoy. After projects are completed, volunteers, residents and community members are invited to attend the culminating celebration.
