The Inaugural Chandler Unified School District Pow Wow is a vibrant celebration of Native American culture and community. Students, families, educators, and community members gathered to honor Indigenous traditions through music, dance, and cultural education.
The Traditional Pow Wow ceremony features the Head Boy and Head Girl, along with a Master of Ceremonies who guide attendees through the significance of each dance and song. Dancers in traditional regalia perform to the powerful sound of drums and singers, creating a meaningful and memorable experience.
The event also includes food trucks and merchandise vendors offering handmade crafts and cultural items. Free parking is available at Chandler High School, and the event serves as a fundraiser for the Chandler Booster Club, supporting student programs and activities.
