CHANDLER, Ariz. – LibCon 2024, celebrated at all Chandler Public Library locations in March, promises an exciting lineup highlighting the diverse and vibrant world of literature and pop culture. Fans and creators of all ages, connected by their shared passions, will come together to celebrate this annual event. Throughout the month, each CPL location will feature events and activities inspired by well-known heroes and villains, science fiction favorites, cosplay themes and more.
“LibCon at the Chandler Public Library offers something for all ages and a variety of interests,” says CPL Programming Manager, Jean Reynolds. “We’re thrilled to bring LibCon back for another year, with activities at all four library locations. Our programs will cater to aspiring comic book artists, kids who love superheroes, Marvel movie maniacs and more. We’re excited to kick off LibCon with Harry Potter Palooza, bringing elements from one of the most beloved literary series of our time. I also encourage adults to join the puzzle tournament for prizes and recognition!”
All CPL LibCon events, including unique programs, panel discussions, craft and creator activities and more, are available at no cost to the public, thanks to a partnership with the Friends of Chandler Public Library. Local comic book specialty store, Samurai Comics, has also partnered with LibCon to offer giveaways and prizes throughout the event.
