Neighborhood Programs is dedicated to strengthening communities by supporting neighborhood-focused programs through collaboration with other City of Chandler departments or other organizations serving residents of Chandler. These supplemental offerings include the Envision program, Mayor’s Neighborhood Excellence awards, and the City of Chandler’s Neighborhood Mediation Program, all designed to make our neighborhoods safer and more vibrant.
Envision is a community engagement program led by Chandler’s Neighborhood Programs. Through informal, interactive events held throughout the year, Envision brings together residents, city elected officials and city staff across traditional neighborhoods in Chandler.
The Neighborhood Excellence Awards recognize neighborhoods that participate in the annual Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (G.A.I.N.) events, as well as the neighborhood champions who continuously work to improve their community, inspiring others to be more actively involved in their neighborhood.
Mediation allows Chandler residents to voluntarily participate in a neighbor-to-neighbor conflict resolution process outside of a court system.
