Envision is a community engagement program led by Chandler’s Neighborhood Programs. Through informal, interactive events held throughout the year, Envision brings together residents, city elected officials and city staff across traditional neighborhoods in Chandler.

The Neighborhood Excellence Awards recognize neighborhoods that participate in the annual Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (G.A.I.N.) events, as well as the neighborhood champions who continuously work to improve their community, inspiring others to be more actively involved in their neighborhood.

The City of Chandler is proud to celebrate National Good Neighbor Day on Sept. 28, a day dedicated to recognizing the importance of kindness, connection, and community. The City of Chandler is celebrating by bringing neighbors together for a special pop-up event at the Chandler City Hall courtyard, featuring various city departments that will be sharing helpful resources, information, and services.

National Good Neighbor Day has been celebrated across the country since President Jimmy Carter first officially recognized it in 1978. Each year, the day reminds us that strong neighborhoods begin with neighbors looking out for one another.

Join us on Monday, Sept. 28 from 2 - 4 p.m. for coloring fun and ice-cream treats as we celebrate the spirit of being a good neighbor and connect with the people and resources that help make Chandler a great place to call home.

Mediation allows Chandler residents to voluntarily participate in a neighbor-to-neighbor conflict resolution process outside of a court system.
