  • His father was a WWI Army Veteran and Jack decided to enlist in the Navy at the ripe age of 18. He hoped to become a pilot and serve around the world.

  • After escaping the bombing at Pearl Harbor, Holder went on to fight during the Battle of Midway, helping to end Japanese interference in the Pacific.
