This park is at the heart of the original town square designed by city founder Dr. A.J. Chandler. It is surrounded by small shops, galleries, restaurants, office buildings, and the historic San Marcos Resort and remains a community gathering place - host to many special events throughout the year.

From the Curiosity Corner where little explorers can play and explore to the Flex Lawn that will be perfect for lively gatherings and major events, the spaces at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park are designed to bring people together.
The Westside of the park is expected to open December 2026 and the Eastside in the Spring of 2027.
