CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Mayor’s Committee for People with Disabilities is thrilled to announce the 27th Annual Chandler Golf Challenge.

Join the par-tee on Friday, Nov. 3 at Bear Creek Golf Club, 500 E. Riggs Road, and support the Mayor’s Committee for People with Disabilities Scholarship Fund. The tournament will kick off with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.

This event is presented by longtime sponsor, Dignity Health of Arizona. The tournament includes 18 holes of golf, golfer gifts, special contest holes, dinner and several opportunities to win team prizes and raffle items. This year’s events will include an on-course contest that will provide participants with insights related to visual impairments. Participants will also have the opportunity to try out an adaptive golf cart, courtesy of Ability 360.

Golfers will have a chance to enter and win an assortment of items during the annual raffle. Raffle prizes range from golf foursomes and sports memorabilia to themed baskets and dinners at some of the area’s finest restaurants.

“In the spirit of inclusivity and generosity, our tournament isn’t just about golf, but also driving progress in the realm of disability awareness and educational opportunities,” said Becky Kuiper, Recreation Superintendent. “Through this event, we aim to raise both awareness and funds, creating pathways to brighter futures for those who have faced unique challenges.”

Participation in the all-inclusive tournament is $95 for individual golfers, $380 for foursomes and $500 to be a tee box sponsor and host a foursome.
