For the past 14 years, Chandler has hosted For Our City Day — a day of service dedicated to revitalizing one neighborhood in Chandler with the help of hundreds of community volunteers.
This huge volunteer initiative has always taken place during the month of October. Going forward, For Our City Day will be moved to late March. Since all of the projects are completed outdoors, the slightly cooler weather would benefit everyone involved.
Mark your calendar for For Our City Day on Saturday, March 29, 2025 as we assist residents from the Pamela Park neighborhood near downtown Chandler.

2026 For Our City Day in Honor of Cesar Chavez
Volunteer Opportunity
This year’s For Our City Day will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 in the Tradition East neighborhood (near Chandler Boulevard and McQueen Road). On this day, hundreds of volunteers will come together to help with a variety of neighborhood improvements.
For this annual day of service, the city will once again partner with the Cesar Chavez Foundation. In honor of Cesar Chavez’s 99th birthday, the city is asking residents to share their acts of kindness as part of its 99 Acts of Kindness, One Community campaign.
