Alma School Road Multi-Phase Project

Phase 1 improvements to Alma School Road, from the first median break south of Germann Road to north of the Pecos Road intersection at approximately Fairview Street were completed in 2021.

Design has begun for Phase 2 of the Alma School Road Improvements, from Germann Road to Queen Creek Road.  Scheduled to take place during the March/April timeframe, survey crews will conduct survey along the project limits to aid in the design process.

Phase Two improvements on Alma School Road are from the first median break south of Germann Road to Queen Creek Road. Design is scheduled for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 and construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025/26.  Phase Two to meet the recommendations of the DCR and the Council-approved 2019 Transportation Master Plan Update to widen Alma School Road from four lanes to six lanes, providing higher capacity and allowing residents to efficiently access regional transportation facilities.

Phase Three improvements on Alma School Road are from Chandler Boulevard to Pecos Road. This project is currently outside of the 10-Year CIP.

City of Chandler Title VI Notice to the Public

The City of Chandler hereby gives public notice that it is the City’s policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, age or disability be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any Federal Aid Highway program or other activity for which the City receives Federal financial assistance.

Any person, who believes his/her Title VI protection has been violated, may file a complaint. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the City’s Title VI Program Manager within one hundred eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
