Communications and Public Affairs

As we wind down from the discounts and deals of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Small Business Saturday, we welcome another tradition of the holiday season: Giving Tuesday.

Today, we focus our attention on giving back to the nonprofits who spread holiday cheer throughout the community. Check out these ideas on how to donate to causes that benefit residents right here in Chandler.

Donate to Chandler Nonprofits

For Our City – Chandler network of nonprofits offers so many opportunities to donate to organizations in our Chandler community. As you are considering the ideal place for your donations, take some time to read and learn about the causes that speak to you.

Nonprofit Highlights

ChangeUp: Change the way you give to make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.

Friends of the Chandler Public Library: The Friends of the Chandler Public Library is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization of dedicated library advocates who cooperatively support and sponsor many of the Library’s programs, services, and events.

A-OK: Assist individuals and families within the City of Chandler that are in need through basic needs support, such as food, shelter, clothing, medical services, transportation and utility bill assistance.

Gift Drives

Help Chandler families this holiday season by donating any of the following items to local gift drives:

  • Gift cards

  • Electronics

  • Sports items

  • Other appropriate gifts for newborns to 18-year-olds

Sometimes it can be difficult to shop for teenagers. Gift cards are something teenagers truly enjoy receiving. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to make someone’s Christmas special, try donating a $25 gift card to the drive of your choice.
