The Tumbleweed Recreation Center (TRC) is a 62,000-square-foot recreational facility located in Tumbleweed Regional Park designed to assist patrons in getting and staying active.
From Tumble Tots and Teen Fitness to Personal Training and Silver Sneakers, the TRC provides a wide variety of classes, activities and events for all ages.

Revival Boot Camp

Revival boot camp is more than just a workout – it's your reset button. Designed for all fitness levels, this group training class blends strength, endurance, and mobility into one powerful system that challenges and transforms you. Registration is required.
Special Programs - Preschool Drop-in Events
Bikes, Bounce, and Boogie
February 6, March 6, April 3 | 9 - 11 a.m. | TRC
Get your preschoolers moving with a fun-filled morning of bikes, pedal cars, trikes, and a bounce house. A maximum of four children per adult.
No early registration required. Drop-in rates apply (fee included in TRC passes).
Strength Training for Active Adults
Saturday | 10:15 - 11 a.m. | TRC | Starts Feb. 7
This multi-level class uses resistance tools in both seated and standing positions. Resistance training reduces the effects of osteoporosis by strengthening bones, muscles, and connective tissues. Daily drop-in rates apply, included in TRC membership.
Flow it Down Yoga
Tuesday and Thursday | 5 - 5:45 p.m. | TRC | Starts Feb. 3
This practice bridges the gap between structured postures and stillness, nourishing and restoring vitality. Centered on "relaxed attention," these sessions create a dedicated space to listen to the body and breath. This is a journey of mindful intensity and relaxed focus. All levels are welcome. Daily drop-in rates apply, included in TRC membership.
GO Red Week

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. Go Red for Women, has addressed the awareness and clinical care gaps of women’s greatest health threat, cardiovascular disease (CVD). Help raise awareness and join us for a special "Red Out" Zumba fitness class.

The Tree House at Tumbleweed Recreation Center offers an interactive child watch that allows you to drop off your children for up to 2 hours while you work out. Tree House is for ages 1-10. The maximum pass purchase is two (2) per person. Parent/guardian must stay on-site.

- Break Time Magazine: Find drop-in classes and programs available for all ages in the Break Time Chandler Recreation Guide.
- Building Blocks: Give your 3-5-year-olds the tools they need before school! With a variety of classes and times, Building Blocks is a great way to create an educational foundation for your little ones.
- Tree House Child Watch: While you work out at the TRC or Tennis Center, your kiddos can have fun at the Tree House for up to two hours.
- Youth Camps: Seasonal camps are full of fun, activities, and making new connections. Available for kids 5-13 years old.
- Saguaro Social Club - Activities and programs exclusively available to 55+ adults. Membership is required and free. Please see the front desk for more information.
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone moment, planning a meeting or a seminar for a nonprofit group, the Tumbleweed Recreation Center’s multi-purpose room, meeting room, park, and pavilions are great venues to serve you and your guests.
Is there a birthday coming up in your family and you are not sure what to do or where to go? Let the TRC staff take care of it for you. The only thing that you have to do is select what kind of fun you would like and we take care of the rest. Party options are designed for 10 kids for ages 3-10.
